World Academy is an interdisciplinary program rooted in a yearlong regional study. Each year, students explore one area of the world through the lenses of history, geography, culture, literature, science, and the arts. The program offers two complementary learning experiences—Global Foundations and Scholars & Scribes. Families may choose one or both offerings to enrich their homeschool journey.


World Academy: Scholars & Scribes
Scholars & Scribes is one half of the World Academy program, offered on alternating days alongside Global Foundations. This literacy-focused learning experience builds reading and writing through the texts of the year’s region of study. Students explore fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and technical writings while developing strong literacy strategies across genres. Scientific journaling and technical notebook-keeping support both creative expression and academic precision. STEAM methodology remains integrated, enriching each lesson as students grow into thoughtful, skilled communicators and curious global citizens.
